Cheyann Hudson is an advocate for autism acceptance and equitable education, inspired by personal experience supporting her autistic sister. Witnessing the challenges faced by students with autism, she has become passionate about promoting better resources and training for special education teachers. Through initiatives such as reading autism-focused books to elementary students, organizing fundraisers for special education programs, and engaging local government to raise awareness, she strives to foster understanding and inclusion in schools and communities. Committed to changing systemic barriers, Cheyann Hudson leads the initiative Different Minds, One World, dedicated to amplifying autistic voices and ensuring all individuals receive respect and the support they need to succeed. She is also honored to serve as Miss Wake County’s Teen 2026, using her platform to further advocate for special education awareness and inclusion.
